- Does Chimi Finance hold my funds?
- No. Your assets stay in your own wallet at all times. We have no access to your private keys, and we cannot move, freeze or recover your funds. Your wallet's security is on you.
- What does Chimi Finance charge?
- Zero to deposit, zero to withdraw, zero monthly fee, and zero network fees — we cover those. We take a share of the yield your position generates, so no yield means no fees. The APY shown in the app is already net of fees.
- Do I need to know about crypto to use it?
- No. You sign in with your Google account or your email and the wallet is created for you. No extensions to install, no seed phrases to manage, no manual network switching. If you already have a wallet, you can connect it instead.
- Where does the yield come from?
- From the DeFi protocols the strategy you picked runs on. It is variable: it moves with market rates, which is why you can see the APY over the last 7, 30 or 90 days.
- Are the contracts audited?
- Yes. Chimi is built on Yearn v3 vaults, independently audited by Code4rena, Certora, ChainSecurity and Spearbit. The reports are public.
